God of Freewill

There’s a lot of speculation floating around the news and social media about how a certain group of people mainly from other countries come to other christian nations for sole purpose of globalizing their religion. They believe that this is the goal given by their prophet. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to share a belief with others, but when you do it in a way where your religious book tells you to kills others that don’t submit, then that becomes a problem.

Typically, people turn to religion thinking that it will make them a better person or for community, but for the sake of overtaking by violence, fear and dictatorship…that becomes an issue. This is an idea that very controversial to the teachings of the bible. In the new testament, written during and after the death of Christ, letters to the church from the apostles, encourage others to set an example for people to see the love of God through Christ, no where does it say to kill someone if they don’t submit.

The idea of forcing someone to convert out of fear, clearly, does not display the character of God written in the bible. The early beginnings of the United States and the writings of the constitution followed the ideas of God granting freedoms to all humanity, that we were born with unalienable rights. The ideas that follow the character of God in the bible granting us the freedom to choose.

Some wonder why God would allow bad fruit to be present in the garden amongst Adam and Eve. God told Adam not to eat of the fruit in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil even if God could’ve just eliminated the tree. Without the tree being in the garden, there would be no choice. It gives all of us an opportunity to obey God or not to obey. We have freewill to do what we want on this earth and we suffer bad consequences or if we choose a good path, we reap the blessings. If you love someone and that person tells you, don’t do that because it will grieve me, you have a choice whether you want to hurt that person or not. Choosing not to hurt him or her is a show of love. It’s a show that you are choosing to love and not hurt.

The freewill to choose is a freedom in itself. The need to be free to choose is embedded into us. God’s character in the bible shows that He’s patient and allows people time to repent from their wrongdoings. He is the Father of all and as a Father who disciplines His children that get out of line, only to bring back to the straight path. He allows us to choose to listen to Him or ignore what He is tells us to do or not to do.

When these principles of freedom and unalienable rights are within the governing body of a country, people from other countries where those freedoms are not given, want to escape and come to a land where they feel free. Our U.S. Constitution protects some of these unalienable rights, such as the 1st Amendment, which protects our freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly and petition and the 2nd Amendment, which protects our right to bear arms.

To force someone into submission is not God’s ways so for a certain religious group of people that’s slaughtering Christians if they don’t convert, that’s not the ways of God. They are misled, not knowing the true God of all humanity, the God that gave Adam a choice. When Adam made a bad decision, to disobey the one who created him, Adam died on the inside by feeling separated from God, but redemption was there. Through the blood of Christ, there’s redemption for our sins. Those are acts of love, mercy and grace. God never forces anyone into submission. It’s a choice and when we choose Him, blessings come. It’s not rocket science to know that God is not a controlling God, just think about the things that are required for humanity to thrive, for fulfillment, peace, joy and happiness.

Unmasking the Truth: Breaking Free from Lies

Photo by Syed Hasan Mehdi on Pexels.com

Imagine living for a hundred years with the same beliefs, some given by others and the rest, superstitions or ideologies that we’ve made up. To avoid rehearing the pain of the past, our unconscious mind can take us on vacation where we escape from reality. If we come to the right stop, we can finally get back to the right path, if not, we can live a lifetime in confusion, fear and denial.

When truth is unknown, masked, hidden, astray, we are in darkness. Some may live through life never discovering truth, but if discovered, it’s like the sun coming out and revealing the most picturesque landscape that had been hidden by dark clouds, finally feeling warmth after being in the cold.

What lies in life keep us from moving forward or what truth do shun away from facing, only to find ourselves ten years later, turning the same wheel that’s prevented us from moving forward? What are those lies that we hold on to and what is it that’s keeping us from letting go of a plastic shield that’s been withering away, only to one day, leave our pain exposed?

There are many lies that leave us blind and sometimes it’s easier to believe the lie, than to turn and face the truth. Other times, the lie is so embedded into our lives from childhood that we wouldn’t be able to discern truth unless it hit us in the face.

There’s the big lie that seems, a majority of humanity on earth hold true, at least those that have it and are not bound by it, which is money will bring us happiness. Look at some rich people out there that are miserable, never satisfied, always wanting more. Then look at the children in impoverished communities, so happy, smiling, laughing, knowing that they’re loved. We can love money, but it can never love us back and we can never take it with us when we leave this earth.

Many people go to places like India to find spirituality or soulful fulfillment via yoga, spiritual guru, maharishi, meditation and the like. Stretching is good for the health. Finding people with the same goals to meditate with and escape the hustle and bustle of work can be refreshing, but it doesn’t quite get lead to the finish line, the experience that impacts our world forever. In these places, there’s usually a statue and offerings of fruit, flowers and incense as if the statue is alive, but if God created the whole universe and us humans, why would He live in a scary looking statue? I have seen people bow down to statues on one knee or aerate on the floor face down, but how do we know how God wants us to worship Him. The bible says, “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24
It also doesn’t say anything about chanting, something spiritual, in fact, it discourages repetition. “And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.” Matthew 6:7
There’s a few factors keep forever, God made man in His image; God created us; sin separates us from God, Jesus is the bridge back to God as His blood on the cross paid for our sins so we can be reconnected to our creator. Who knows us better than He who created us? If we’re confused about ourselves, seek the one who knows us best.

Another lie, particularly in the community of females. Believing that the word pro-choice is a benefactor for women. The term pro-choice is there to keep abortion industries in business. The idea that women are empowered when given a choice whether to have a doctor kill the life inside of them or not, is deception. Deep down inside, we all know the truth, choosing to put oneself aside for 9 months for the sake of saving the precious life inside, is powerful. Choosing the right path even-though it may be tough, scary and full of unknowns is heroic and courageous. There’s nothing womanly nor powerful about choosing to take an unborn life. There are organizations out there that can support the 9 month journey. We should protect life, not destroy it.

Another huge lie, is that we can achieve perfection or that we can make ourselves holy before God if we do certain things. The bible says,“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9
One of the worst lies that some of us humans believe is that we can be our own gods. Eve was alone in the garden and the serpent lied to her, enticing her to believe that knowing everything was something desirable and that she can be like God. There are fraternities that believe that human’s can be their own god, completely devoid of understanding the character and purpose of God’s creation. In fact, it’s the complete opposite. Walking before God should involve selflessness, trust, dependency and humility, knowing that we are not gods, we can never be god, there’s only one God and we are here on earth to do His will, which is in His word, also known as, the bible.

Another lie is the idea that we can save our selves from our own sin. Pharaoh, the monarch of Egypt thought he could pardon Moses from his sin of killing a man, yet Moses had an encounter with the Lord in his dreams, which led him to question himself. He knew that Pharaoh was just a man, not a god and that only God can forgive sins.

One of the biggest lies ever is what atheists believe, that there is no God and we evolved from from monkeys. Who created life? Having studied design, there’s a purpose for the way elements are put together. Spaces are set up to function a specific way, to cause people to interact, flow and move through a space as designed, but that’s nothing compared to the way God designed everything. It would be too much to dissect everything from biology, to DNA, to life underneath the sea.

One of the biggest lies that can hurt our lives is the fact that we are too broken for God to fix or that we are not worthy to be loved by God or can never be forgiven. There is one grave sin that the bible, in several scriptures mentions, is the blaspheming again the holy spirit. It is the unpardonable sin according to Mark 3:28-29, Matthew 12:31-32, Luke 12:10, Hebrews 6:4-6 and 1 John 5:16. Other than that, I don’t recall the bible stating something in addition to. To go through life believing a lie that God can never forgive us will hinder blessings to flow into our lives. If you feel that you can never escape from your sin, that it has a hold on you, that you are a slave to it and don’t have the strength to break free it could be a demonic stronghold. These strongholds enter at times of trauma, rejection and or abandonment often requiring spiritual deliverance, therapy or an encountering the love of God. It’s never too late to turn. There’s hope in Christ. You are loved by God, your creator. You are never too broken to fix. God knows your past.
Jesus hung on the cross with two criminals. One of them did not know Christ and challenged Him to come down from the cross if He is the Son of God, but the criminal on the other side, knew who Jesus was and told him, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom. And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:42-43. In the criminal’s last hour of death, he accepted and believe in Christ, the Lord, the Son of God, God in Him. Just believing and knowing is all it took. Jesus forgave him in an instant. The criminal on the cross next to Jesus got saved at his hour of death. God knows all the crazy you’ve done, just believe and accept Him into your heart.

For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Romans 10:10

Prayer for the reader:
Lord, I pray for those that need this word to find it and be set free. Change their life around and bring others into their life to lead them in the right path. In Jesus name.

Finding Joy in a Desolate Season

Life is great when all is well, but we all know that it’s not always happiness and joy. There are seasons of rain and drought. The passages of scripture in the Bible in the book of Ecclesiastes says that there is a time for everything :

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven: 2A time [a]to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.

There have been times of sadness and joy, times when I feel like I’m in a desert, a place with no water to fulfill my thirty soul. There have been times of rejoicing when hopes come into fruition, but in the dry season of life, should there never be any joy?

Moreover, the rain in life that satisfies the thirst for dreams, wishes or goals, doesn’t always quench and coming to realizing once again, the joy inside me.

It’s been a long while, walking through life, trying to put my faith in Christ, when things seem to not go as expected, a waiting pattern that seems to strip hope away day after day. The ever so common question arises, “why God why?

Feeling distant as if God is silent, doubt starts to settle in. Where is He? Is He still listening? Then a series of events within two days happens, each resulting from the next. First, receiving a notification of a compromised account, led to having to get a new card and finally, after searching for a new car for the past month and a half, I finally inquired of a car loan, she told me I was approved and granted the exact amount I was thinking in my head.

In addition, since searching for a car for so long, I wasn’t under pressure because my car was still doing fine, mechanically. Then for the first time, when I turned on my car before going to the bank, my check engine light came on, which was the first time ever.

I had mentioned this to the teller and she told me the exact thing I was thinking, that, “the Lord is telling you to get a new car.” I had been taking my time about purchasing and she mentioned something about having to be under pressure to finally do it, like with the check engine light.

Maybe to most this might not seem like a big deal or coincidence, but having been in seasons of hearing His voice inside of me, then being in a desolate silent desert for long, then once again, the rain comes and that very clear message that God gives, satisfies my soul.

It is like rain drops in the desert, an instant thirst quencher.

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Matthew 4:4

It is the confirmation of His love, undoubtedly letting me know that He’s listening. He’s with me and has not forgotten about me & that alone, is all I need for joy.

Choosing Purpose Over Feelings

Never exempt from having a bad day, it is expected, sometimes everyday, once a week, once a month or several times a year. Things will go bad, maybe a flat tire, parking ticket, loosing a wallet, a job, a break-up or the worst, a loved one.

Even in the worst times, life goes on and for some that play a critical position that many depend on, we have to forsake our feelings and live outside of ourselves to fulfill a greater purpose. When we have a position to fulfill and need to be at a certain place at a certain time, it seems at that time, right before you break-through, it can feel like a ton of bricks full of emotions is thrown down at you, wanting to keep you from getting off of the floor. That, of a tidal wave on its way toward you ready to knock the heck out of you.

Yes, emotions are a blessing, but sometimes you wish they weren’t there. At the turning points in life, where you are doing something that will break barriers carried from generation to generation, it’s as if opposition is tremendously stronger than what anyone else is going through, as if you are carrying the weight of previous generations to the finish line.

I’ve felt the struggle when I had to persevere through tough times when I felt I wanted to give up or hopeless of ever making it. The most pain-staking times have to be the times when I had to be somewhere at a certain time for the purpose of serving God in certain ways. Although, volunteering to be a camera person in church may sound minuscule to some, when I had to leave home to drive to church, strong emotional pain hit me so hard all of a sudden. I felt like not going. It was my first day or serving and I did not want to go. It’s important to recognize the works of the enemy, the dark-side that wants to keep us from crossing into something greater. With tears falling from my eyes as an emotional wreck, I made it and at the end of the service, I received a blessing that was the start of a changed life.

If not for emotional pain coming at the wrong time, there were times I felt way too tired to go, almost changing my mind and had I listened to my feelings, I wouldn’t have been blessed just by getting into my car, driving over and walking into church.

The most life-changing time was before I got baptized, I kept getting thoughts, telling me I’m not ready or that it won’t change anything or that I’m not worthy in God’s eyes, but I proceeded and it changed my life forever.

Even if we feel tired, emotionally distraught or depressed, sometimes surrendering to God also means, surrendering our feelings and knowing that there’s something much greater than our ourselves, but God’s purpose. Instead of allowing feelings to take over, it’s better to get down on your knees and just worship God, not because of your difficult situation, but because who God is and that He is worthy to be praised.

So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed.

Exodus 17:11

Worshiping God does not always mean lifting up our hands, but also obedience and sacrifice or putting God above anything or anyone we love. Look up, not inwards and let Him pour out His love, peace and joy on you today.

When God Speaks

Whether you are Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, agnostic, atheist, etc. , God can or will speak to anyone. The Lord’s reach is not limited to a certain group of people, but if you hear from God, how do you know that it’s really God?

I just heard a story on the 700 club about a Muslim lady who became and atheist. She went through many hardships that she stopped believing in God. When she got to a point where she felt like killing herself, she kept hearing, “come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” She ended up sharing what she kept hearing to her Christian friend at work and her friend opened up the Bible and showed her that what her Muslim friend was hearing, is an actual scripture in the Bible.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28

In can relate to that story because when I was seeking the Lord and I was questioning, God spoke to my heart like he did with the Muslim lady. God would speak to my heart about something, then I would randomly open up the Bible to any page and end up reading a scripture that followed what the Lord was just teaching me.

There is a reason that the Bible is called the Word of God. I know not everyone believes that Jesus is Lord, the Son of God or part of a triune God. It’s hard to understand the three in one idea. The Bible does associate Jesus with God in the first book of John. The Word is Jesus.

In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:1

It can sound confusing, but essentially, Jesus is the Word and He was with God and Jesus was God. It goes on to creation and the beginning and Jesus or the Word coming into the world. Thus, He did and the first four books of the New Testament are stories that tell mostly about the last years of Jesus before He was crucified. Written by the disciples of Jesus, they have included words directly from Him. In some bibles, these word of His or in red text.

So how does one know when God speaks? Knowing the word of God is a major part of discerning. But one does not have to know the Bible for God to speak to them. There’s this guy named John Ramirez who was a warlock and he heard from Jesus. He heard from the devil everyday until one day he heard the voice of God asking him, “what are you going to go when your time comes?” This guy was adapted to hearing from the devil so when he heard the voice of God, he knew it wasn’t the same voice nor was the atmosphere in his house the same. It ended well and to make a long story short, he gave his heart to God and now he’s bringing many people in the dark, into the light of Christ.

I’ve heard many testimonies of atheist or Muslims who see Jesus in their dreams or who have had near death experiences and have seen or heard from Jesus. People in prison who have had visions of Him and their life gets changed forever.

When I was a practicing Catholic I never even touched the Bible. I thought it was for the older generation to read before meeting their creator. I tried to find flaws in it, but I was missing the big picture. So maybe the Old Testament has a some boring stories in their like the genealogy or the family tree, but if you are discovering the love of God, but having doubts, thinking, “why would God even care about me or know my name?” you might want to read the book of Psalms. There’s plenty of scriptures that reveal His love for us.

How precious are your thoughts about me,* O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!

Psalms 139:17-18

Another book to read are the gospels, especially when Jesus gets crucified. That is a show of His love for all man kind. So maybe you feel like the God is speaking to you about something, you may want to check out the Word of God, aka, Bible. It is difficult to flip through pages and find stuff, but there are websites that have searches which make it easier to find things, one good one is Bible Gateway. Searching for the definition of a word in the dictionary is like searching for who God is in the bible.

God loves all.

The Flaw of a One World Religion

Photo from https://www.mediaoffice.abudhabi/en/arts-culture/opening-in-abu-dhabi-the-abrahamic-family-house-marks-20-percent-of-construction/

In the Persian Gulf, on Saadiyat Island of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, a center of worship for three different religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam is being built, to be completed this year. There are three buildings, one for each religion and at the center, an educational center for all. This complex of buildings is called the Abrahamic Family House, designed by architect, David Adjaye , set to be completed this year.

The Abrahamic House Family is not just a center with buildings, but a fraternity where members move towards global interfaith. Pope Francis and the Grand Imam Ahmad el-Tayeb signed a document to establish a human fraternity of religions.

You’ve probably seen the co-exist bumper sticker that spells out co-exist with symbols that represent different faiths. The Abrahamic House has a similar logo, only leaving out some faiths and enclosing it with a roof with chimney.

https://www.abrahamichouse.org/

The idea that religions can co-exist is nothing new at all in America since it’s something that’s been happening for so many years. We have buildings for all faiths where people from different religions come to worship their god and we’ve allowed it. This religious right is protected under the first amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the freedom for one to exercise his or her religion.

This is one of the things I love about the United States of America, our freedoms. Although my faith is in the salvation of Jesus dying on the cross for my sins, which I can never save myself from, I still hold strongly to the belief that people should freely practice their own religions. This might sound a bit crazy, but I believe that the God I worship, would want people to be able to choose their own religious path. If you read the Genesis 2: 15-17 in the bible. God tells Adam not to eat from the knowledge of good and evil. It wasn’t an apple tree, which most believe. It doesn’t say even say fruit, it just says tree and if you eat from it, you will die. God was not speaking of a physical death, but a spiritual death. The death that one feels inside due to sin, guilt, shame and most of all, separation from God. This sin that has the potential to lead one to eternal damnation.

15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Genesis 2: 15-17

Even though God told Adam not to eat from the tree, he still did and he also blamed Eve for it. After Adam and Eve ate from the tree, they realized that they were naked and hid from God. However, God already knew they disobeyed, yet He still went looking for them. He still wanted to connect with them. One may ask, if God did not want them to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, then why did he allow it to stay in the garden in the first place? Adam and Eve had the freedom to choose to obey or disobey. God knows the way we are wired, He created us. He knows what will bring us joy and what will bring us to emptiness and devastation. When we don’t listen to His commands, we hurt our-self. Sometimes when things are used for the wrong purpose, they can break.

Having being raised catholic, that was my religion. I went to church on Sundays religiously, dressed up and tried my best to pay attention to what the priest was saying. I thought that kissing the feet of a Jesus statue would earn me brownie points with God. I prayed almost every night, the rosary, in repetition or memorized verses, but I didn’t find out until later that God wanted to hear me speak my heart out to Him. I always knew that God existed. I just could not fathom the fact that He actually knows my name and loves me and created me to be loved by Him. It wasn’t that people told me, but I experienced His love through reading the bible that speaks of His love and His voice that spoke to my heart. That inner voice inside that saves you, brings conviction or brings hope, joy and peace is the still voice of God.

The effort of a one world religion is pointless. God is not a religion. Kissing a statue of Jesus is not worshiping God. God does not live in statues nor does he live in a stone. The bible says that God is spirit.

24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

John 4:24

This fraternity of all religions may lead to the compromise of beliefs of each and although it sounds like it would bring unity, which it may, it can evolve into a new religion which combines the beliefs of all faiths into one. The scary part about it, is that if it becomes a one world religion, everyone will be forced to follow it, which negates the whole idea of ones freedom to choose. Although, Jesus in the bible says that there is only one way to God, the Father, we have the freedom to choose whether we want to believe what Jesus said or follow Him.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6

We can choose our own path to finding the truth. With all honestly, after finding God through the bible and a real spiritual life-changing experience of God’s love, I’ve found the truth and there was no reason to look any further. When truth comes, doubt does not exist. God already loves us, His creation and He will never force us to love or follow Him. It is our choice whether we want to receive His love for us and love Him back. It is also our choice whether we want to follow His will and His ways. If God knows what will destroy us and tells us to stay away from it because He know what it will do to us, why not follow His voice?

The Value of Human Life

Throughout history there have been times where certain groups of people have been slaughtered. A person’s life was devalued according to their race or religion. Even today, news sources say that China is slaughtering the Uyghurs.

The Death Toll

Far surpassing in number are the deaths of babies in the womb. According to the World Health Organization, there are about 40-50 million abortions every year worldwide. Per the CDC, there were 619,591 abortions in 2018 and since 1979, 63 million.

The Profit

The abortion industry makes hundred of millions of dollars per year by selling abortions and receiving tax dollars of citizens from the government. Per Life News, Joe Biden gave the abortion industry $467.8 Billion dollars.

The Procedure

Upon aborting the baby, depending on what stage, a tube is used to suck out all the fluid. In later stages, an abortionist may have to pull the baby apart limb by limb, first sticking a needle to the head, then sucking up the rest of the pieces inside making sure no parts are left behind. All the while, the alive baby inside is dodging or fighting for it’s life.

There’s a movie called, Unplanned, a true story about a lady named Abby Johnson who worked for Planned Parenthood, moved to the top and after seeing an abortion take place on the monitor her whole perspective changed. She watched a baby inside the womb fight for its life. Shortly after, she left the abortion industry and is now a pro-life advocate.

When Life Begins

Pro-Choice people like to say “my body, my choice.” However, there’s another body involved, which is the body of a baby being formed inside. According to science, a new life is formed at fertilization. Scientist have captured a flash of light that occurs upon conception.

“The argument that this unique human being present in the mother’s womb from the moment of fertilization is a part of the mother’s body until sometime later in gestation is, from a scientific viewpoint, bizarre. What this argument would imply is that human beings reproduce by a process of budding, which is a process by which a new individual organism forms from a part of the mother’s body. This is the means of reproduction of some species of worms but it is most certainly not a means reproduction by human beings. This argument used by abortion proponents that an embryo or fetus is a part of the mother’s body until a certain point of gestation is scientific nonsense. When the argument is made by a scientist, it represents either scientific incompetence or deliberate deception. It is the responsibility of the scientific community to make it clear to the public that this argument is junk science and is obviously used merely to defend the morality of killing a young human being in the womb.”

Dr. Michael Egnor, Evolution News & Science Today

Life is not a Mistake

Even for us that were given life, our lives are not a mistake. God’s hand was already at work.

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.

Psalm 139:13

Before we’re even born, God already had a plan for our lives. He already had a purpose set out for us.

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them.

Psalm 139:16

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 1:5

Luke 1:15

John, the cousin of Jesus came into the world before Jesus to prepare a way for Him. God had already anointed John even before he was born.

For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother’s womb.

Luke 1:15

Before John was born, he was already familiar with the presence of Jesus.

When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.

Luke 1:41

Hosea 12:3

The story of Jacob and Esau, twins that were trying to win over who would the first born child. Jacob, at birth was already holding onto the heel of Esau.

In the womb he took his brother by the heel, And in his maturity he contended with God.

Hosea 12:3

Roe s. Wade

Even if Roe v. Wade is overturned, women will still have a choice. Before pregnancy there’s abstinence, birth-control and protection. After pregnancy, there’s giving the baby up for adoption.

Overturning Roe v. Wade will still give the exemption of abortion if keeping the unborn baby will cause major physical harm to the mother. It would be tough for those women that got pregnant by the force of a man to keep it. Maybe the court would make that exemption or not, however just because the father was a monster, it doesn’t mean that the child would be as well. There are numerous people that were conceived through rape that have made a major positive impact in society like Jesse Jackson and others.

Pro-choice people seem to believe that a woman’s choice to terminate the life of a baby growing inside of her in empowering, yet it only shows fear. Power is of the Lord enabling a woman to overcome the fear of the unknown, to examine the challenges and obstacles, yet find ways to make it work, seek resources and be the hero of a voiceless precious life inside that’s counting on you to protect it. Power is pushing through the tough times and coming out alive and praising God on the other side. Looking back at a point of life that seemed hopeless, but coming out on the other side blessed and victorious.
